Some artists use paint, others bronze, but Nathan Sawaya chooses to build his awe-inspiring art out of toy building blocks. He says that there are literally no limits to what he can create out of LEGO.

With more than 1.5 million colored bricks in his New York studio, Saway’s sculptures take many forms. His talent is unquestioned and unique. What he has done for Lego is beyond ground-breaking and should be (and I think is) appreciated worldwide. Not only does Nathan build amazing sculptures out of Lego bricks, but they have thought and feeling involved in them as well-just like the art you would see at the Louvre or anywhere else. As you can see from the photo, his work is revolutionary and fascinating.
